I have two office locations - one in northeast DC, the other in northwest DC, both close to metro stops.
My main office is located at Brookland Pastoral Center, at 1325 Quincy Street NE, Washington DC, 20017, an 8 - 10 minute walk from the Brookland/CUA stop on Metro's red line. There is also plenty of street parking at this address.
My secondary office is located in Suite 306 of 3000 Connecticut Avenue, NW, directly across the street from the entrance to the Zoo. It’s about an 8 - 10 minute walk from the Zoo/Woodley Park stop on the Red Line of the metro.
Finding a therapist that YOU like can be an intimidating experience. No one wants to pay for something they don’t want. For that reason, there is no fee for the initial session if we decide not to work together. If we do decide to continue to work together, it will be billed as the first session. My current full fee is $125/hour. Please note that I am no longer a provider for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (however for BlueCross PPO customers, which includes most Federal employees, your PPO includes out of network coverage, so you would receive some reimbursement).
I recommend checking with your insurance company to see what they will cover. Because I am a fully licensed psychotherapist in the District of Columbia, many insurance providers will reimburse you for my services.
I do have a sliding scale and during the first session would be happy to discuss this with potential clients who may not be able to meet the full fee.
